I've never seen a team forget how to play down the stretch of a game like Atlanta did. They flat pooped themselves in crunch time. I hate New England, but admire their poise and focus. It's just sad to me to see the Falcons basically give it away. Freeman brain farts and misses his block that results in a sack and fumble. Ryan takes a silly sack taking his team out of game clinching field goal position. They get enough yards back to kick that field goal, only to have Matthews hold and negate the gain. DBs drop picks. On and on.
Somehow Brady completes a pass when he's hit and the ball wobbles into the tight end's hands when he just happens to be there and 3 defenders are all around. Edelman makes a catch that doesn't even make sense (how does the defender's feet hold the ball off the ground so Edelman can reach over and catch it?). The Pats are so poised and they are good, but the ball doesn't bounce the same way for them that it does for others. I definitely enjoy the Super Bowl more when I don't care who wins. I'm not sure why Atlanta didn't get the ball to Jones every way possible in crunch time. He's in a league of his own and makes impossible plays.
You gotta give it to New England for staying calm and doing everything right down the stretch, but that's one of the biggest choke job I've ever seen in an NFL game. It has to hurt even more for the Falcons because it was the Super Bowl.

As unpopular as this might be, that was an example of why BB is the greatest coach in NFL history, and TB IS the greatest QB in NFL history. To me, it's not even close.... and I'm not a New England fan, at all. I recognize greatness when I see it.
