Good luck to Kraig - the invitation to Spring Camp is a big check mark on his report card. And Mitch, well I expect him to be managing a ML team within 10 years. Go Beavs!

Sitton (Giants), Tyler Smith (Mariners), Danny Hayes (White Sox) and Andrew Moore (Mariners) all got invited as non-roster invitees to spring training. The Mitch Canham thing is great. First year manager wins his league in Low A full season. 2nd year coaching gets moved up to A-Advanced. Mariners really must be high on Mitch to move him up after one year. Good for him!

I don't know the numbers at all but I understand there is substantially more money to be in the major league camp as opposed to minor camp. Everything else is better also . . . accommodations, food, etc. Andrew Moore got a nice sized signing bonus but the others did not and I'm guessing the money is a big deal.

I didn't realize that Jace Fry got invited. He's had a rough go in minor leagues...can't stay healthy. Hope he's good and can show off his stuff.
