Getting arrested more than 2 decades after leaving the school is a reflection on the University today?
Is it possible that he was a good human and fine student while at Oregon? And then he played professional football for 9 years and earned some money. Then after spending his money earned in the NFL unwisely, he found himself needing money and THEN made bad choices about how to earn it?
That seems like a fairly logical progression of events given what we know about some NFL players and how they handle money.
But somehow that scenario makes Coach Bellotti and the Oregon football program open to ridicule in 2017?

Youre a sensitive li'l fella, huh? Toughen up. If you want to troll (as an uck) on a Beaver board, you MIGHT expect some negativity (much of it earned). That's good advice....

BUT... in this case he's right. Just as his SB rings have nothing to do with cryalloti and whoregon, either does his personal affiliations. |

I am not hurt by anything posted here ... or really posted anywhere.
Well, I guess the fact that the opening post somehow wants to focus on something that might even be remotely bad for Oregon did pique my interest is the pin prick that started this. But my response really is about how much sense does it make to pin the acts of an alum on any school 20 years after the fact.

If I wanted to focus on "lately," there are numerous opportunities. I thought the DL post made it an obvious tongue in cheek moment. If I could find something circa 1940 about an ex hole athlete in trouble with the law....I'd post it...;-)
