Name or class does not matter... we need three solid starters and 2 very good backups or the rest will not matter. Least of my worries is WR core... who cares if you can't run the ball and protect.
4. Evans
5. DL
6. LB
Name or class does not matter... we need to be able to pressure the QB, get TFLs, and tackle. DBs are only an area of concern if we do not imporve pressure as we will have to play multiple coverages and be able to cover!
There must be a lot of development in our current players as there is not a player on this list that is a game changer in his position group without quality threats around him (Evans will just be doubled all season if we can't develop other threats).
The best I can see this class at this time is 10th in Pac12 ahead of Cal and barely above WSU. But WSU has a defined system in place and recruited pretty well to it, so maybe 11th is more accurate. We need to have a GREAT off season or we have fallen further behind our Pac12 foes. As usual we will have to develop and hope we found some true diamonds in the rough.
SC is freaking back... their list of (5) early enrollees and signees is impressive for a truly unknown HC going into year 2!

Who are the top 3 guys that we added relative to talent and immediate need? Mine: 1. Hodgins 2. Sattelmaier 3. Morris based on need, I gotta agree with baseball. this team needs OL in a bad way. Sattelmaier is your number 1 get in this class from that regard. DL is always in there as a need. Evans has to be number 2 after that, I'd argue Hodgins or Morris. Hodgins is the better ranked guy at an area we have some need. Sattelmaier Evans Hodgins |

Played in all 14 games as. RSFreshman at Michigan St. on that great D they had 2 - Hodgins - Tall, athletic, smooth...take it to the house type of kid 3 - Morris - One service rated him a 4 star. LB or Safety, he can run and hit, and I LOVE that he's a native son |

Two football adages that I always believed in: 1) Football begins in the trenches 2) The best defense is a good offense
Add the two together and the first priority is OL. Always want more OL. Quality + Quantity, indeed.
