I read an article in Lindys" a few years ago that tracked the top 100 recruits nationally for a three year period. It showed 1/3 became starters, 1/3 became role players, and 1/3 did not make their college teams. I'm sure they all had athletic talent but as this shows there is so much more to it than that.
