I watched the whole thing . . . I don't get the hate. He mentioned Syd by name - when he called her "senior guard" he was simply trying to express that her experience and maturity was an asset for OSU. We can hate the man just for being a *uck. We don't have to make up other reasons.

We don't have to make up other reasons. I didn't hear him call her by name and now the link is blocked at work but he was very complimentary of the senior guard. I think he knows that is what his team (any many, many other teams) is missing. Syd is a joy to watch. |

And I think he was trying to make his players next to him feel better. He had to drop the number of wins Jamie, Ruth, Devon had their freshman year to make himself feel better. I get it. It's a comparison. Just jumped out at me. Why not just  |

The guy just wanted to emphasize the importance of having an experienced player at the point, so he said "SENIOR guard". Frankly, I don't know how much more complementary he could have been towards the Beavs without it getting weird.

That's what Senior leadership is. They have been tested by fire. I think Sabrina here is going to be that type of player ....soon. Next question? and btw. I don't hate Kelly Graves. One comment after a tough series...I give the coach a pass. He's got a jillion things on his mind. Holding his team together being primary. |
