Male or female of any sport. She is entertaining on and off the court. One of the most clutch players I have ever seen. What a great embassador for OSU. Her jersey had better be hanging in the rafters of Gill soon.

It would be great to retire Syd's, Jamie and Ruth's jersey at our last home game. Many other deserving, but these 3 have been super special and achieved
way beyond expectations.

Totally agree about the three of them. Hopefully all three at one time. But it's become obvious that Syd was the most important of the three. All three were All-Americans and Pac-12 player of the year candidates but Syd is a national player of the year candidate.

Each season has seemingly been a quantum leap over the preceding season. I expect her to close her OSU career with a flourish. |

Her jersey had better be hanging in the rafters of Gill soon. One of favorite's as well. I love her moxie on the court. She's highly skilled and a great leader. Saw her at church a few weeks back with some of her teammates, and she even kind of led them there. She didn't know me at all, but stopped what she was doing to talk women's hoops with me. This was before league play, and she absolutely believed that this team can make a serious run again this year. |
