A tight end or two. More OL and I want to say more DL, but I have to admit that I am not sure what kind of body the coaches want in the 3-4, especially at LB and DT (not NG) positions. |

I want a kid about 6'3" 305 that runs a 4.45 40 who's in good enough shape to rotate between DT, TE and RB for a full game.

I am old school (and a former Center), so I believe that if you get the lines right and filled with depth, the rest will work itself out more or less... So... MORE BEEF!!!!! OL and DL!!!

1 LB - Daniel Green cancelled his visit and went to Ole Miss instead this weekend.

I see we made the final two for a kid I had never heard of before. Oh, and he's a WR. His Twitter profile says he plans to go on a mission later this year.
*Note: It also appears that Utah may be recruiting him as a linebacker, as their DC seems to be the one recruiting him. We have sent McGiven to visit him a couple times it looks like.

Specifically (guys who we actually may have a shot at): - Trajon Cotton S (committing tomorrow, us or the Butts...er, Buffs) - Juliano Falaniko LB (I hear the staff is pushing really hard on him) - BJ Baylor RB (since Green officially flipped to Utah, we need another back and Baylor looks solid). - Mo Unutoa OL (from Hawaii) - Tayler Katoa LB (committed to USC, one brother on the OSU roster, one committed but on a mission) - Taniela Pututau In general: - There are several Hawaiian guys in who are uncommitted and we appear to be in the running for. - I'd like to get that second running back in this class. - One more offensive lineman. - One more linebacker. - A tight end, but I don't believe we are really in the running for any tight ends. |
