David is at Linfield, where the small school atmosphere better suits him. The name on the back of his jersey can be a bit heavy.

If he's worried about comparisons to his dad, probably shouldn't have gone to his dad's alma mater. Scott Brosius also coached Linfield up until 2015.

He does not appear on their roster, so does not look like he is playing. His transfer was for non-baseball reasons.

Update on young Mr. Brosius, he is playing for Linfield.
