Maryland is #3 in both polls, but #19 here due to their weak SoS, and right now they are a 3-seed. At this point, it's clear that we scheduled really well. We didn't play a ranked team in the non-conference, but we played a couple tournaments filled with "pretty good" teams. (OkSt #39, Quinnipiac #47, UNLV #75) Remember - neutral-site victories count for a lot more than home games. That, plus playing in the Pac-12, gives us a pretty good SoS.

Marquette stands currently at 31 RPI. 16-4, 3rd in Big East.
