From the help-is-on-the-way (hopefully) department:
Clackamas Open yesterday:
Future Beav Kurt Mode (141) wins his bracket, pins Alex Rich in the semis. Mode is currently ranked #1 in Intermat's JC ranking at 141.
Future Beav Colt Doyle (174) wins his bracket as well. Doyle is ranked #2 in Intermat's JC ranking.
Beav results:
David Henry took 1st at Heavy Rich took 3rd at 141 Meeker took 3rd at 165
Clackamas just won their 4th straight National Dual Meet Championship and is 16-0 on the year. Pulling a couple of their top kids definitely isn't a bad thing. They've got a couple of other kids that I wouldn't mind seeing in Corvallis.

I know little about coaching wrestling... that being said, from what kids say and from the success they have there for a JC, pulling their coach even as an assistant might be good as well?!

I'm actually surprised Rhoden (their HC), hasn't landed anywhere. He's been there 10 years I believe. But if he's looking to stay in the NW, not a lot of options. He's a native Oregonian, wrestled over at Crook County. If we were to make a change in the future, he sure fits the Casey/Rueck profile!
