OK - I am NOT one of those fans that can *ever* root for the uo 'ucks. I happily root against them in every endeavor. But especially when they play the beloved Beavers.
I would like to see us continue our dominance over that program that we have enjoyed in the SR era (I believe we have only lost once to them since SR took over our program). That said, I am nervous about the game down there - they have quietly gotten back to their winning ways, and they have a lot of young talent.
Right now the Pac-12 regular season is a three horse race between UW, Stanford and us. But the margin for error is very low (though we do own the tie-breaker over the other two co-leaders).
I keep hoping for a lower echelon team to tag an L on UW or Stanford, but those lower Pac-12 teams don't appear up to the task.
Speaking of lower Pac-12 teams, Eugene would not be a good game to stumble in, but at least the way the week is set up, even if you look ahead, all you will see is your current opponent :-). I see a close game coming up however.
Good news is we are playing pretty well right now (but with more room for improvement, which is always good). And it is not much of a trip for our away game.
Go Beavs!!

I'm with you in looking forward to the Duck game. I will be taking my Granddaughter to the game. She plays basketball and is a huge Beaver fan and is really excited. We went to a game last year and she got got to meet some of the players after the game and because of it has become a huge Gabby Hansen fan.

Tsdr is certainly capable and it will take something close to our best effort to beat them in kNight Court.
I have every confidence Rueck, his staff and the seniors will have them up to the task.

Stick Gabby like glue to Ionescu. She had her third triple double today but hasn't seen the likes of Gabby's defense. The ucks fell apart while Ionescu was out for weeks with a finger injury. Marie, Bre, and Kolbie should have no problem handling their other freshman threat, Ruthy Hebard. Looking forward to sweeping the Civil War weekend against them.

I'm sure that SR wants to sweep the Ducks as bad as we want them to! Though I think UO is improved from last year I still think we are on a different level then them. We have several players that can light up the score board, and we pressure teams from both the outside and inside. A sweep of them would be a great way to remind them of just how far they have to go to catch where our program is!!
Go Beavs!!

Pisses me off that it won't be on TV. Wife refuses to donate to the evil empire so we won't get to watch the game in person either. This game definitely makes me nervous. Note to beavdowg: The "v" is at the bottom of the keyboard and the "r" is near the top. Just sayin'.

Pisses me off that it won't be on TV. I am a Dish subscriber, so there are times when the Beaver game is on at some ungodly DVR-only hour..... Was a Comcast subscriber, miss having Pac-12 Oregon, but also becoming a cheapskate in my old age. To remedy that, I have signed up for Sling, which helps when I am on the road as well. (the games seem to be on "Pac 12 Networks" and ESPNU according to our schedule). Go Beavs!

Sure glad we don't miss the asu-ucla or the udub-Cal games live (cough, cough).
Sunday game will be live on ESPN-U at 11 am but we will be attending that one.
The problem I have with Sling or anything that comes over the internet is that we have a relatively slow internet connection cuz we lives way out in the sticks. Very herky-jerky at only 1.2 Mbps on a CenturyLink DSL line. We do have Google Chromecast which is about the same as Sling (I think). sigh

I wonder if it will be broadcast over the Pac-12 network? That's not a bad feed, watched yesterday's game live that way.
