Accordingly, I don't understand the rationale for deleting or moving ANY non-offensive, on-topic posts.
Apparently one thread per game is ideal. 30 threads per season. Maybe we should just have a single thread for each weekend? Or better still - a single thread for the entire season?

Personally I believe in the power of entropy.

Stop using big words. Maybe you want to start your own women's basketball message board? Otherwise, do a f%#*ing game thread.

Go Beavs. You are a valued member, not just a guest. And your enthusiasm for women's hoops is outstanding. It's just that game threads are better. Call me anal or whatever, but board clutter is reduced and live-blogging games should be contained into one thread. They're fun to go back and read; the ups and downs, reactions to calls, big plays, etc. To your earlier point, Bernice's Place is not just for women's basketball, but for all women's sports. So your hypothesis of only 30 threads per season is not really accurate. I mean, just look. We have many threads about Sabrina I and other recruits. The lovefest for Mik Pivec. We have gymnastics, volleyball, track threads as well. And I didn't intentionally delete any threads/posts, I just tried to combine the USC posts into one thread. Therefore, I kindly ask that we have one thread per game for live-blogging. Thanks. Preferred thread title format: OFFICIAL Game Thread: OSU @ USC

Thusly, I agree with Squonk. Go Beavs!

My preference is only a matter of degree.
For events that get numerous posts and fill up an entire page (FB, Baseball, MBB in previous years) - definitely the game thread is best. Keeps the event of the day contained within a single page view.
But for events that only get <15-20 or so posts total from tipoff through final buzzer I kind of preferred the individual posts with specific responses. However, in this day and age with all games televised and universal internet access there's no real practical reason for me to post quarter scores anyway - everyone with a screen knows what they are. Just something to do, I suppose, while enduring the suspense of a competitive contest.
But I see your logic and will happily follow your request.
