I'm not sure what happened last weekend, but from what I've seen UCLA is a very good team. IMHO better than Stanford in that they are more athletic and simply have more weapons. Not taking away from winning at Maples, but that seemed to be the bigger opponent vs Stanford. I was not impressed with anyone but McCall. We showed great resiliency, but we can't play at that level vs UCLA... way too many lost possessions and easy misses. Granted Stanford played physically, UCLA is better. I truly do not see that Stanford team as a threat to win the Pac12 or tourney. UCLA is very much a threat.

Good point - sorry, I was not clear in my message: we have at least won at UCLA in the past, so we are not fighting history the way we were at Maples. That said, I too am puzzled about UCLA last week - they are a scary dangerous team this year, and last year they really took it to us (Sydney was absent, we had even more TOs than we usually do) regardless of the excuses, and they are completely capable (and quite motivated) to do so again. I fully expected UCLA to be in the catbird seat for Pac-12 champion, and the season is still young...... Go Beavs!
