The Stanford band (including the basketball band) has been disbanded by the administration for the remainder of the 2017 school year. After decades of having to apologize for their outlandish antics the Stanford administration apparently has had enough. I doubt it had any impact on the game but Maples was definitely a quieter place on Sunday.
