Should be a good indicator of where we stand.
I can't decide if some of the teams we are playing are actually going to be quite good this year (Marquette, UNLV, BYU, Quinnipiac), or we are not that good and just making them seem to be good. Those 4 teams are all about 50 spots below us in the Sagarin ratings, meaning either the OKState game will be a barn burner or we will get blown out.....

Play/shoot like today(yesterday now) we get beat by double digits. But, young teams are going to have issues on the road. Handling free time even with no class work and then getting focused on basketball is not as easy as it would seem.
So far so good.

Just a-wonderin', but is Katie Mac ok? Fighting off an injury? She doesn't seem the same. Not throwing her under the bus, just thought she'd play a little bigger role in the "O." We could use 8-10 a game from her.

Just a-wonderin', but is Katie Mac ok? Fighting off an injury? She doesn't seem the same. Not throwing her under the bus, just thought she'd play a little bigger role in the "O." We could use 8-10 a game from her. I was expecting big things from her after she went off for 29 in the season opener, and she showed off an aggressive dribble-drive mid range jumper..... My personal theory (completely unfounded, mind you) is that last second missed 3 against Marquette messed with her a bit (she appeared quite upset after the game). I also think she is getting back on track a bit (saw some good things from her that looked like the "old KT Mac" against OkSU. Go Beavs! |
