Kudos to both of them advancing in their careers. Gives our coach an opportunity to get some new up and comers as well.

That's great and I'm happy for both guys. Good on Brent for offering a fellow Beav coach a promotion. That said, leave the rest of our coaches alone!

I doubt there's another unless he takes Baldwin or another offensive position coach as OC. I suspect none of the SJSU positions pay as well as their counterparts at OSU. A coach would have to want to get out to make a side move for lower pay. It wouldn't surprise me if Brent snags a grad assistant or two as possible position coaches or grad assistants under him at SJSU.

Not sure he'd go back as OC but stranger things have happened.

Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but it seemed to be an aberration from his past successes and he got the blame. I'd think it'd be a one and done or two and done then move up. Going to "interior receivers" from OC Is kinda a strange move itself.

Going to "interior receivers" from OC Is kinda a strange move itself. I would not be surprised if "behind the scenes" Baldwin was a large part of our late season offensive success. If you watched the games on TV, Baldwin sure talked to the QBs a WHOLE lot for an "inside receivers coach". Baldwin was always the first to get to them coming off the field and the last to talk to them headed out there. He was always coach in the huddle, more so than Andersen. No doubt 2015 was a stress to everybody, and I understand there was a lot of infighting among the offensive staff. It doesn't mean Baldwin is not a good coach. It is a kind of curious arrangement. But I also believe Andersen's coaching titles are a bit... squishy.
