Are there even 3 Pac 12 level players on this year's team?
Drew is a force and can score, block shots and rebound, He still has huge gaps in his game, (his defensive awareness and positioning is a crying shame, cmon coaches), but he is definitely pac 12 ability and only a sophomore should keep improving.
Tres, *when healthy*, can shoot from outside and take it to the hoop against anybody. Not really a tough rebounder or great on ball defender but talented thief with timely steals. He is a solid pac 12 player.
Stevie, still coming back from an injury but seems to not have improved much since last year, shot has not rounded into form yet. If he plays as he did last year, he can be an effective pac 12 scorer.
That's it. 2 and a half men to get us through a long pac 12 season.

I think when healthy Tres and Stevie are Pac12 level players. Eubanks, meh. I had high hopes for him. He dominates against the smaller/weaker teams. But teams with size he is horribly ineffective. IMO we have two legit Pac12 players, thus far.
It's also looking more and more that Dew will not remain with this team. Not even into conference play and he has been suspended three times now? Definitely some issues there.
PJ Bruce came on late last year, and was hoping he'd be a key piece this year. When he announced he was leaving, I didn't think his loss would that big, but WOW. This team could use him and his quickness, scoring, and ability to run the point.

We'll see... he showed zip versus Pac12 play last year and has disappeared at times this year. The only thing he has improved on lately is NOT committing dumb fouls and getting techs. He can block shots, and rebound when the opponent has inferior size and strength, and he can dunk... before last night 45 of his 55 made FG were dunks and I think all but 1 or 2 last night were... he can't shoot, every once in a while he hits a shot. Not the same. Look he has about 161 pts thru 11 games... 70 cam versus Lamar, Southern Oregon, and Savannah St... 23.3/game. 91 in the "other games", still not high level teams... 11.4 His FT shooting has dropped off dramatically... he's like 15 for last 25 after starting in the 80%+ range. Bottom line Drew would not start for any team other than OSU in the Pac12... and not get many minutes with most. We have (2) "average/middle of the road" Pac12 caliber players at this time... Tres and Stevie... and neither of them would start for many Pac12 teams... so what's the recruiting level been in actuality???

baseba1111 - with you on Eubanks being a back of rotation guy, but Tinkle is legit. His game would fit nicely on just about any team.

He was going to have a steep learning curve. We can hope he starts to "get it" by the end of this season. Gives him two years of potential production. Tres and Stevie are legit. What about Jaqouri? Everyone forget about him? I haven't seen Manual play, he's been putting up good numbers. Is it just numbers? Or does he have potential? Tres, Stevie, Jaqouri, Ethan -- a pretty good core for next year. If Drew can figure it out ...

Unfortunately, so far the moniker on Tres (along with Pac-12 caliber) would be "oft injured". Not in the same class as CND, but still.... Hopefully he can stay away from the injury bug going forward.
Tres, Stevie, Jaqouri, Ethan, Drew form a pretty good core. But I think we need to find some more able reinforcements, and we may have to go looking for the graduate transfers....
Go Beavs!
