Looks like Beavs are going for immediate help with the JC brawn. Also explains the evolution of the targets to more balance between O and D, now in year 3 Read

Just to know he's swinging for the fences is awesome. Please get Evans in the door. 247 has #5 JC recruit Agasiva as 100% Beavers too.
I don't know that I've been this stoked for Beaver Football since Pac 10 days.

No mention of Evans' "package deal" buddy Nixon in that article. Looks like he is leaning sec. Either Tenn. or S. Carolina. Bummer.

interesting tidbit from Eggers re: Isaiah Miller (potentially) signing a financial aid agreement on Wednesday. I had assumed we were no longer a favorite with him taking additional trips these past few weekends. Perhaps just due diligence on his part. That's great news.

Between JC and early entry FR signings, it sounds like we may have somewhere between 8-12 kids sign this week. That doesn't leave a lot for Feb. It will be interesting/fun to see how it all shakes out.

Good article, thanks for posting. Always interesting to get snippets from the coach. I never really thought about the proportion of offensive commitments/defensive commitments in his first two years. I think any first year as a head coach, you are just scrambling to hold together what your predecessor put together. In reality, GA has only one signing class under his belt that is truly his, and this will be the second. Although, he did flip Elu Aydon over from Wisconsin that first year, which has turned out great for us.

looking forward to a day when the term "big boy" will be permanently gone from beaver vocabulary. what an idiotic term Coach Andersen seems to like it, so don't hold your breath... Unless you are hoping for a coaching change... Personally I like it when the coach has a personality that is identifiable. I think that was one of Helfrich's biggest weaknesses and why it was so easy to fire him even though they didn't get a huge upgrade... I loved Riley's "Aw shuck, gosh, golly gee" personality. I love Andersen's got to be tough, bit of a Red-ass, pull your pants on and be a MAN personality. And I am sure if he was our coach I would love Nick Saban's over the top dictator personality... Point is... as much as a personality can be annoying or get under your skin at times, it is better than NO personality
