I had this kid pegged as a possible repeat of the Isaac Garcia situation. Committed to USC last spring. Some rumblings about grades. Might be a case where we stay on him and see if we can get him into school and on the field... or we see him end up at a JC. He's been down to visit a number of times. Either way, studies show that we the only in-state school who happens to have a coaching staff at the moment. Go say hello coaches! www.oregonlive.com/recruiting/index.ssf/2016/12/daniel_green_wests_top_mlb_and.html#incart_river_index

That young man can play football, we need him, now!! Go get him GA! I realize the competition in the PIL is nearly pathetic, but he is large, can move very well, and can hit, all we need I'm thinking. Grades might make it impossible if that's what the hold up is, but we can offer him help and hope he gets in, if he is so inclined.

As for Greene, you can't do his schoolwork for him and either can the Beaver coaches. Maybe an In state player has less rigorous standards to meet.
