...was watching the storm roll in, tightening up my poncho, and thinking "this is going to be good!"
Has anyone seen any quotes from players or staff about the impact of the wind and rain coming in hard? It's undeniable that the game took a momentum turn right when that happened!

Just in post game Nall interview. More or less indicated that they knew they 'had it' when the rain hit. I took it to mean that we were tougher and knew it!

We were sitting up high on the east side and could see it roll in. I remember commenting to my buddy that if we scored into the wind to end the 3rd that karma was going to blow our way big time in the 4th. It was awesome! Sort of long delayed revenge for that stupid punt return in the landfill in 2001 before the deluge came. Winning is much funner than losing!

That was awesome to watch.
Nall's run down the sideline after the catch and juking two ducks, and his safe call in the end zone.
The emotion from Ortiz scoring that TD...you could just sense that meant a ton to him that they called his #.
3M ran an option that had the TV cameras and me for certain completely fooled.

I did listen to a Ryan Nall interview on the radio. After the Beavs got the lead, and the storm came in, according to Nall Coach Andersen ran up and down the sideline letting everyone know that "We are only going to run the ball for the rest of the game."
