I know it has been probably discussed at length, but I was there and didn't see any PI, holding or nothing in real time and didn't see it on the one replay they showed. What did the many angles that TV has show?
BTW, you have to love the alligator arms of a wide open hole WR in the end zone.

Decoud's hand did manage to briefly touch the receiver's shoulder and/or arm right before he reached up to catch the ball if I recall. The announcers called it at the time then when the replays hit they said they didn't think it rose to the level of pass interference. Apparently the refs thought otherwise.

I think you could see that there was no pressure exerted against the receiver but the motion just appeared to be similar to a push off even though it wasn't.

Decoud did at some point prior to the interception have both his hands on the receiver. It did not look like he was exerting much pressure..... The announcers derided the call right after it, and then the halftime crew replayed it and called it out as well.
I am of mixed minds on the announcers putting so much emphasis on "blown calls". On one hand, it lets me scream at the TV and rail at all that is unfair in the world. On the flip side, it feeds my sense of paranoia, and I wonder how much the issue is the announcers stirring things up and creating news (especially in an election year).
The call that I was really shaking my head over was the off sides on the short kick we recovered. That said, the official threw the flag right as the kicking team kicked off, before the outcome of the play was known.
I would like to see a future where the refs are AI bots - impartial and working from image analysis :-).

That offsides call on the kickoff was such a close call. I'm thinking it would have been unable to be overturned if there was a review. Hated it, understood it. A judgement call that could go either way. Neat play though, you don't see that type of kick called often, I don't actually recall ever seeing a sky high short kick called like that before.

A judgement call that could go either way. Neat play though, you don't see that type of kick called often, I don't actually recall ever seeing a sky high short kick called like that before. My problem with that silly call is that I see at least 2 or 3 guys pushing that on virtually every kickoff. On the big screen, the worst possibility was that one guy close to the kicker was even with him when struck the ball. My son-in-law wondered if the ref got thrown off by a slower, modified kicking motion. The sad thing was that it was perfectly executed and would have been such a boost at that point. Ditto for Decoud's pick. Absolutely would have erased that lost fumble by Vic on the previous play. Considering how much officials allow DBs to get away with, it was strange, because Treston was in perfect position and the receiver had no chance at that ball - VERY slight contact by Decoud or otherwise. The send bailed out Herbert on a really foolish throw right after the turnover. Oh well...someday we'll get some help from the stripes!

The refs were a complete joke and were actively trying to keep the dicks in the game.
