lots of good stuff but 2 stuck out.
1. Ricky Ortiz scoring his first TD. Great way to close out your career by a tough, hard working kid. Great play call too. 2. Artavis Pierce one yard gain turned into a pile pushing 7 yard gain in the 4 quarter. I had a feeling after that play that we were not going to lose or be stopped. Absolute force of will play that was inspiring.

I'm sure there's healthy competition between AP and Wrecking Nall. After seeing Nall break so many tackles, it was nice to see AP emulate his hard-nosed running style. That was definitely a fantastic play!
Another play I loved is when a toilet seat defender had both hands on AP behind the LOS and simply stopped moving. AP kept those legs churning and bust it for a nice gain.

Pierce's run was great.
My favorite moment, until that weak-ticky tack flag came out, was the successful onside pooch kick!! That was a thing of beauty!!

That was a thing of beauty!! that's one thing that I've noticed - Andersen has more of these types of calls in his playbook than any coach we've ever had that I can remember. He has more creative plays than the conservative/straight-up playcalling we've been used to. That, along with the hard-nosed brawler attitude is setting the tone.

My favorite moment was when my friend, watching his first OSU game, looked over at me and said "Who is that... Nall? He'll be playing on Sundays."

The rain coming in near the end of the 3rd quarter, the game changed after that and everybody in the crowd was cheering for it.

The rain coming in near the end of the 3rd quarter, the game changed after that and everybody in the crowd was cheering for it. Reser became electric after the rain hit; people just started going nuts. It was weird because the rain usually has the opposite affect, but we had the momentum and people really felt it; it was palpable. I have rarely seen hard driving rain like that at Reser, kind of fun actually if you were prepared for it.
Other greats: - Mcmaryion keeping the ball (for a change) and getting huge yards
- Nall's "safe" call as he slid in to the end zone
- Running it up the middle for an entire quarter; the slug eaters knowing it was coming and being powerless to stop it
- Little duckies in the urinals (I know it's juvenile but it always makes me smile)
- I didn't see it until watching the replay yesterday, but Nall "duck hunting" on the sidelines after at least two of his touchdowns
- Coming to work today and just smiling at the duck pukes

Normally, when the rain comes people moan and half the people start to leave. It was cheered - LOUDLY. I think we all knew that Oregon State would handle it better. Each time it got worse the crowd roared even louder. Loved it. One game where I welcomed the elements. Any other game that would sucked... but against the razzle dazzle ucks? Perfect. As for that Pierce run that pushed the pile, that was a thing of beauty. Not one or two plays later he had a huge run to the 2 yard line and pretty much sealed the game. Once I got home and watched the replay on TV, you could see AP's legs churning in that pile... total beast. Love our two running backs.

it hit at the perfect time. The crowd was kind stunned after the start of the 3rd quarter two quick three and outs and 10 Duck points. nobody sat in my section after the rains came everybody was up cheering and yelling. The switch over from the 3rd to the 4th was electric. Everybody was singing TNT and you could feel the momentum of the stadium and the team change. One of the loudest crowds I have heard there.

Absolute force of will play that was inspiring. After Ryan Nall's first two runs on our last drive... I said out loud. "We Won". After Pierce and the OL manhandled Oregon to a 7 yard rugby scrum gain I said out loud "This team is willing itself to win. We have won" Then I will admit, after Nall scored immediately after Pierce's long run, I said "should of taken more time off the clock!!!" and got nervous again... It was true in the end though. you could see determination in a team that has been lacking the last couple year. Particularly determination from the offensive line, that has long been a punching bag for us. Really inspiring. Great game.
