Michael Conforto will be featured at halftime of the OSU - UW fb game Saturday...and will also address the current team. Great way to continue building a tradition. Thinking about Conforto's development at OSU, after arriving as a Freshman in Corvallis - with a background as a High School Shortstop, I'm pretty excited about what Cadyn Grenier, also a HS shortstop, may become during his years as a Beaver. I got to see Grenier play about 10 times this summer in wood-bat summer ball. Dare I say that the Bend summer team hasn't had a player with his potential/skills at such a young age, since Jacoby Ellsbury, fresh out of HS, in 2002 (?).
