If we get some OL maybe we will be top 5 Pac team next year? here's hoping All we need is to keep this group healthy. We need to find some linebackers and we need another stud corner like DeCoud.

Offensive line looks to be strong next year. LT-Brandel, LG-Lavaka, C-Kearsley, RG-Lauina, RT-Sattlemeir Solid reserves in Hopkins, Delp, Moore, Demogerontas, Fifita. One more JC OL would add the final piece to the puzzle. Add Noah Togai back as a multipupose player and a year under Wily-Matagi's belt and we are much stronger blocking the run. Hope the JC quarterback is the real deal and step into that position. Upgrade the receiving corp and the future looks very bright!

If we get some OL maybe we will be top 5 Pac team next year? here's hoping 7th place in the Pac-12. We beat California. (Although the Bears went 2-1 in nonconference to finish with a better overall record.) It should be noted that, at 5-7, California is in line for a bowl berth if the final three teams looking to become bowl eligible choke or if the Texases of the world decline bowl invites in front of California.

I know overall they have a better record but I would have thought that as far as the official PAC12 conference standing we would be listed ahead of them since we beat them head to head with the same conference record? Cal is listed ahead of the beavs

The Beavers should be listed above the Bears, though, with the head-to-head win. In other news, Hawai'i won to clinch a bowl game. Absent something strange, the Bears are going to need Louisiana Lafayette and South Alabama to lose and at least one team in front of them to decline an invite (probably Texas) to go bowling.

If we get some OL maybe we will be top 5 Pac team next year? here's hoping Just get 6 wins, somehow. I'll be happy. Achieving more than 6 Ws would be gravy.

Our OOC schedule should be 3 wins next year, with the big one being Minny at Reser. I think OS wins 4 conference games next year. Unfortunately we don't get Arizona and UCLA again, but ASU looks like a train wreck and starting to quit on redass Graham. USC will be a nightmare. No matter who we play Reser is going to be a tough out for road teams.

If we get a full 25 schollies in school and on the field to create some depth I could see a 6 win team as a bottom of expectations... at least 2-1/4-5. Some will depend on how schedule comes out, and when the bye week is. But, that needs to be the next step... no excuses.

Conference rotation 2017 Actually we do get Arizona again plus ASU, Colorado and USC Thx I thought we always played Utah AND CU and swapped between the SoCal and AZ schools. I'd like another shot at Utah, Oregon State would beat that team I watched yesterday. They look pathetic right now.

You don't lose 3 fifths of your line(82 career starts combined) and expect to be strong, at least right away. Stanton, Harlow and Andrews were the core of a group that really played well from about the Colorado game on. Jim Wilson thinks all three of these guys will sign NFL contracts of one kind or another and i agree.
And really hate losing a center because of having to start over with the snaps and counts etc.
But the positive factor, again, is the Beavs now have coaches who accept nothing less than constant effort and hard-nose toughness. I believe this program now has hard coded the mentality and habits to rebuild the O-line unit without it dragging out into a season long issue next year.

We play three of the following four: Utah, Colorado, ASU, and Arizona.

Good for him! Tight end that transitioned to an offensive lineman in 2013, because of the stupid number of injuries on the line. Transitioned back to tight end in 2014 before transitioning back to lineman for good. Moved around the line while he was here, too. Andrews also moved around a lot, too. Played every position besides left guard. In fact, it was really Andrews' mono that forced the staff to move Stanton to the line in the first place.

I don't believe the Conference applies tie-breakers to teams for any reason other than determining the Champion of the Division. If you finish tied with another team at 3-6, you are simply tied for 7th place. Remember in 2000, we were simply Pac-10 co-champions, not 2nd place. We can apply all the tie-breakers we want, in whatever order we want, but the Conference doesn't necessarily do it that way.
