That was a great game by Nall, and he kept toting the rock late in the game when he was tired, but his coach leaned on him to take the Beavs to the promised land. His cuts weren't as clean, and his push wasn't as strong, but it was enough. That's where my comparison of the two comes from. Like Nickerson, Nall was pushed by his coach to carry his team to the end. And he, and his O-line, made it happen. In a strict Beaver Nation sense, both were fierce competitors who have a limited shot at next level success, but put the team on their backs to win games/series.
BTW, Pierce had a great game, but did anybody else notice that he damn near fumbled on that run late in the th to set up Nall's last TD? It was VERY close to coming out.
GODDAMN! GO BEAVS!
Been a long time. Feels so good.

I didn't realize Nall has such a limited shot at NFL success.

I didn't realize Nall has such a limited shot at NFL success. Nall needs to stay healthy. If so, he's definitely got a shot at the next level! Just stay healthy. Is he like Toby Gerhart or Tommy Vardell (Touchdown Tommy)? Joe Steele (I vaguely remember him....a big RB at Udub)?

I think he's more like Steven Jackson...big, has breakaway speed, can juke a defender, or run over them. By the way, you notice that he's a pretty great receiver as well? GO BEAVS!!!!

Honestly, He reminds me of Mike Alstott. He doesn't run as low as Mike did. But Ryan runs over people and will drag them. He runs HARD. Also, I would say Nall is faster than Alstott was. I think he has a great shot at making the league if he stays healthy.

EARL CAMPBELL WAS THE ULTIMATE BEAST. Nall reminds me of him where one guy ain't gonna take him down.
