Our Tuesday night opponent Marquette knocked off #18 Arizona State yesterday: www.espn.com/ncw/recap/_/gameId/400911280It may be too early in the season to worry about transitivity, but we can at least conclude Marquette is likely a cut above Lamar, Idaho State or Portland, and they will give us a much better sense of where we stand in this young season. If I recall right, Marquette was not an easy out last year at their place, and they were young..... Go Beavs!

Will be a good and necessary test before conference play. Pretty soft non con schedule this year, although I assume there will be at least one more test in the Las Vegas shoot out.
Based on my limited viewing thus far, they seem to be a little indecisive on offensive. Likely growing pains from missing Wiesner and Hamblin.

What I am seeing is Coach playing a lot of players; no need to stick to the starting lineup with the soft schedule they have had - definitely getting the younger part of the squad some good minutes. It is also going to make the offense look a bit out of synch at times. But we'll probably see the planned conference lineup for Marquette - want to come away with a W in that game!
