Liking what I'm seeing from her so far in nonconference. She's quite an athlete and I think she'll be a big contributor this year - she'll need to be.
It'll be interesting as the season goes along to see how our turnover numbers compare against last year. I have a feeling (admittedly based on a small unrepresentative sample set) that we will improve.

Yes, she was very good. The only problem she seems to have is fouling. She had three fouls in those 16 minutes and each of them was careless and avoidable. Hopefully she improves on this because her defense inside is going to be very important to this team.

I've always thought Bre Brown represented some good potential waiting in the wings......Ruth's emergence slowed Bre's, but last year's redshirt was likely a very wise move, and this is her year to put it all together. Bre was very highly regarded coming out of High School - she was rated higher than Sydney in some rankings (yeah, I know how "squishy" all of that is, but the point is that she was well thought of in recruiting circles): www.osubeavers.com/sports/2013/6/7/208466106.aspxWill be interesting next year with more size than Ruth in the form of Joanna Grymek in the middle, lots of potential twin tower posts and forwards, and a sharp-shooting backcourt. Hoping for a run this year, but we are setting up for something special the following year. (Love what Coach SR is doing by way of recruiting!) Go Beavs!
