Phew can't argue with any of you. I stayed till the end. We could use Malcom now..won't need him next year.

Anything definitive come out about why Malcolm left so suddenly and if he is coming back next year?

Beavs played like a young, inexperienced team against Lamar. The lack of upper classmen on roster is going to hurt for a while. Hopefully by the start of league games some leadership will emerge. Point guard is a huge concern at this point as neither Stacy or JM have shown they can run the team in an efficient manner. There is potential but both players have a long ways to go. As others have said it may benefit the team in the long run to have lost this stinker. Besides the turnovers there was a disturbing lack of hustle. On more than one occasion, Lamar just flat out tried harder, which gave them the win in the end. No more "Cadillac Cool" style play would be a start. Coach Tinkle will have them competing soon hopefully by start of Pac 12 games.

This team misses the stability of Malcolm Duvivier and the spark of Derrick Bruce, both of whom should/could have been part of the team. Our depth is razor-thin right now. Our press breaker and best ball handler under pressure last year was Schaft. He always made the right pass against a press and could take three or four dribbles to get out of pressure. It's ironic he may be the worst 6'10" rebounder in the history of the game.

How the Beavs respond tonight on the road against Nevada, is to me more telling about the team than the clunker loss to Lamar.
