this says zip other than this writer thinks GA wasn't a "fit" with Wisconsin! whatever that means. I guess he does take a jab at the fact that his claim to fame was doing well in one season in the mountain west.

Agreed, there's no evidence given in that article to back up anything the writer says. It's not the first time I've heard Andersen neglected to recruit in-state there though (albeit this source is the same newspaper): Badger football: In-State Recruiting may Rise with Gary Andersen's exitI thought it was pretty amusing that the RB Andersen couldn't get enrolled at WI ended up with Riley at Neb, though it sounds like he washed out there as well.

Always thought it was odd that we would be going bat-$s%#t crazy over a hiring a coach who was at a successful, major program for just two years and had just lost a conference title game 59-0. A conference title game! You're supposed to be good enough to avoid a blow out. I know our 54-24 game looked pretty bad, so what does 59-0 look like?!

CGA has a pretty strong record. sure he is short on HC experience as it goes. but his Utah State turn around is very impressive and he DID keep the ball rolling at Wisconsin. I still think he can do it, particularly if he learns from the mountain of mistakes he has made this season.
