The guy is in a fairly absurd beef with the Lowe family over his ranking of Trey at #7 in his class. Why he's engaging, I'm not sure, but damn.
Yesterday he posted a screenshot (since deleted) of a private message from Trey telling him his ranking was absurd with the caption "how not to handle your high school recruitment/the media," which then led Trey's older brother Keanon to post this:

I follow him but don't check my twitter very regularly. That right there is a good ol'fashioned silly twitter beef.
About a month ago he wrote an article about HS football classifications and suggested that Jesuit and Central Catholic should basically play an independent schedule with tougher out of state opponents from WA and CA since winning 63-0 each week doesn't do much for anyone. IMO the Jesuit supporters in general were completely bent out of shape over it. So I would guess some of it stems from that...he's apparently anti-Jesuit. lol.
IMO O-Live does a nice job covering HS recruits, but spend way too much time trying to repackaging into new slideshows with new rankings of the same kids over and over and over. Top 10 juniors, top 10 lineman, top 50 overall, top 25 tight ends, top breakout stars, top athletes, top juniors named Talanoa, etc. I've seen the pictures of the same handful of kids - David Morris, Cota, Jaramillo in about 30 different slideshows. And that's because at the end of the day, they are driven to get clicks and page views more than they are driven to provide actual new content. So I'm a dummy for clicking I guess. Sorry got on a tangent there...

In my oh so humble opinion, recruiting rankings and those that read them, could go away today and the world would be a better place.

I like knowing the names of kids considering coming to OSU, but very rarely watch the highlights. A kid being recruited by Division I schools is a really good high school player? No way!
I'm not a huge fan of the gushing tone Nemec speaks about literally every recruit or how every kid interested in OSU somehow indicates that OSU is now a major player on the recruiting trail, however. It's like the boy who cried wolf a little bit.

Nothing like seeing basketball highlights of a 6'8" kid heading to the Pac-12 dunking on a team of 5'11" ballers from Lakeridge. Those are my favorites.

In his defense, most Jesuit people I've ever encountered have a certain...air...about them and how they expect to be treated. Probably unfair description of most of them which is why I've hedged it in terms of my encounters.
