Interesting developments. Palmer and Hathaway both at 141. Does that mean freshman Devan Turner is the real deal or can Palmer just no longer make 33? Does the loser of Bresser/Calkins bump up to face Turner?
I'm curious about Chay, saw him around the room a few times this summer. It sounds like it was a rather abrupt departure. And still.. GIANT QUESTION MARKS at 65 and 74. Yet we have about 10 guys at either 41/49. Ugh.

They are going to see how it plays out. So from what Roberts said all the options you stated are on the table right now.

So they battle at 141 and loser gets to cut weight. Nice that we at least have some options there.

Write up and results. Was there. Some quick observations. The new bleachers and padded fold down chairs were awesome. Probably a 10 year over due upgrade, IMO. Hard to tell when you are going against your own guys. I thought Breser, Greigo and Crawford all looked bigger out there. Palmer got a gift TD in the 1st period, I thought the ref called it too quick. I think well be fine there. Not sure if the other guy sucks down to make 133? Need the experienced middle guys Delgado and Arod to step it up this year. Need to qualify and hover around in the rankings all season. Same with Crawford. I think we will take lumps at 165 and 174. Sad to read the news on Dhesi, he was there in street clothes. I hope he can come back, hid clock is ticking. www.osubeavers.com/news/2016/11/3/wrestling-orange-edges-black-in-intrasquad-scrimmage.aspx?path=wrestling

Did Bresser wrestle or just looked bigger in general than last year? What did you think of Turner? I think now it's Hathaway vs Turner at 133. I think Greigo and Crawford definitely make a big leap forward this season. Yes, very unfortunate about Dhesi.. We could conceivably be going w/o both he and Bresser if RB does indeed redshirt. Yikes.

Bresser was sparring with Caulkins before the actual ref'd matches started. I thought he looked bigger in the arms and shoulders. Turner was pretty good. Hans hung with him for a while but Turner used his quicks on him to score his points. He's probably our best freshman in this class.
I wanted to see more out of Dobler, hes been in a college room for year now, Coleman was in HS this time last year. I could see Parson, Jaramillo and Coleman as starters in the years to come.

Does anyone have thoughts on David Henry? I thought he was going to add depth at 197. It's good to see he gets to compete at some sport.
