Down to three undefeated teams in FBS: Army, Indiana, and Oregon.
The Big 12 race is now wide open, as well.

I would like to see ASU and Colorado be 1-2 for the Big 12. It would be a nice FU to all the Big 12 fans who looked down on the Pac during realignment.

If ASU wins the Big 12 championship, the Big 12 might get shut out of the playoffs. Big Ten, SEC, ACC, MWC and AAC champions (if the last two are Boise State and Army) would be the five highest-ranked conference champions and nab the auto berths.
And a 3-loss Colorado team, or BYU team with no real quality wins, aren't getting an at-large invitation.
That would be a wonderful scenario.

Speaking of Colorado a few years ago many thought it was a publicity stunt to hire Sanders. He would never succeed. Looks like he has. Name being bantered about for the cowboys job. Looks like many were wrong.

Looks like many were wrong. The breakup of the Pac-12 was beneficial for Colorado. They are playing a much-easier schedule in the Big 12.

Looks like many were wrong. Sanders isn't a bad coach but he didn't do much with last year's luggage. The transfer portal brought him new luggage this year and suddenly he's a great coach? This era of college football is Taylor made for him.

I would like to see ASU and Colorado be 1-2 for the Big 12. It would be a nice FU to all the Big 12 fans who looked down on the Pac during realignment. Colorado controls their own destiny. If Colorado wins out, Arizona State is close to controlling its own destiny. It would only fall apart, if BYU loses a third consecutive game to Houston. At that point, it would fall down to things like how Arizona, Baylor, and Cincinnati finish. If a Pac-12 team wins the Big 12 and gets to the CFP, it moves up all of the Pac-12 teams in bowl selections. CBS, for example, have already cooked in that Colorado is going to win the Big 12 and go to the CFP. They have the Independence Bowl open, if Oregon State can get to bowl eligibility. If a Big 12 team wins the Big 12, that would open up a Big 12 or Mountain West bowl or possibly the Gasparilla Bowl.
