Saw a probable starting lineup.
What does Sy have to offer? Nothing shows up in the stats.
Isaiah Sy: 6 PPG, 3 RPG, 2.3 APG.

Saw a probable starting lineup. What does Sy have to offer? Nothing shows up in the stats. Isaiah Sy: 6 PPG, 3 RPG, 2.3 APG. Too early to tell really. He's young, long and athletic with a big 'fro.  I could see him doing really well at the top of an extended 1-3-1. No one has settled into their roles yet because everyone is new (except Lake, Rataj, etc.) and Coach is mixing up lineups all the time. |

If I remember correctly, he comes in with the reputation as a shooter. Played at a less than top JC last year, so a pretty big jump up. Hopefully he can find his way and up those numbers.

He looks like he has the skills - it just hasn't come together yet on the stat line. If you just go by the eye test and ignore the stats, you probably would put him in the starting lineup, too.

It seems like his defense is what earned him a starting spot. He is long and athletic, and hustles on D. His outside shooting seemed to be warming up in the last game. Hopefully that continues because he passes the eye test.
And he has a big fro. ET would be jealous.
By the way, does anyone know? Is it pronounced "SEE" or "PSY"? I've heard both now.
EDIT: Indeed, it is "See". Just saw the pronunciation guide in the game thread. That's hilarious. I guess when 2/3 of your roster is from abroad, you need things like pronunciation guides. OSU is the true melting pot.
