Nothing wrong with going back to the Well to land a lively arm from a strong JuCo program in Council Bluffs, Iowa, IMO. Coach Dorman and IWCC head coach Ryan Cougill go back a while. This year it's a promising RHP named Noah Scott via Broomfield HS in Colorado. Scott is 6-4, 210 and has been timed at 96.5 mph on a 4-seamer with good life. This year at Iowa Western he was named to the All Conference team while posting this stat line.
16 appearances, 71 1/3 IP, 12-2 record, 3.79 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 62 K, K/9: 7.82, 17 BB, allowed 57 hits, held opposing hitters to .197 BA. Has a 5 pitch mix with good command.
Good athlete with 7.14 and 7.24 sixty times this year. Good hitting SS in addition to pitching - .933 fielding %. I believe he has 3 years of eligibility left to play.
At Class 5A Broomfield HS, posted a 12-1 record with a 1.16 ERA while striking out 68 and walking 10.
Area POY, Frontier Range League POY, First Team All Colorado by the CHSAA coaches assn. Four year Honor Roll student and the Denver Posts First Team All Colorado Academic Team.
