While the Yankees wet their pants. 3 errors and 3 more brain dead plays What a comeback! 5-0 deficit in the fifth. 7-6 the final. Freddie Freeman was 1/4, but he drove home runs #2 and #3, and Freeman scored run #5 four pitches later. Freeman had a hand in four of the five runs in the all-important fifth. World Series MVP. Great stuff!

Great stuff! after what Freddie went thru with his kid and the ankle injury - just awesome. He's such a good guy. Thrilled to move on from the "2020 Mickey Mouse WS" stuff. Just a little bummed we didn't get peak Shohei vs peak Judge.

Personally, would have much preferred mets/guardians WS Totally understand, but I'd rather watch college ball. You know where it's still the game on a far more fundamental level... true baseball. Not who can spend the most for the guys throwing the hardest, hitting it furtherest. Not to mention the dumbarse rules for TV. WTF... a runner knows after a 2nd pick there can't be a 3rd in the same AB... unless he's caught?! If not, balk. No advantage there. When the announcers start paying homage to a team who pays attention to the basic tenants of good ball... well it's pathetic. I was hoping for a swept just so Fox lost more $$

Yankees remind me of a perfect game showcase team. Great physical talent and tools but not big on details

And I will say that it was an exquisitely played game......especially the pitching on both sides. I think the yanks knew they were out classed, and that led to them kind of melting down ......never sad to see the Yankees lose, but since it was the dodgers who won......meh

Personally, would have much preferred mets/guardians WS The Mets have a bigger payroll then both the Yanks and Dodgers.

Personally, would have much preferred mets/guardians WS The Mets have a bigger payroll then both the Yanks and Dodgers. Playoffs by payroll rank in millions: AL Wildcard ALDS ALCS#24 Tigers ($103.8) #24 Tigers #5 Astros ($236.5) #28 Guardians ($93.3) #28 Guardians #2 Yankees #21 Royals ($115.3) #21 Royals #27 Orioles ($94.5) #2 Yankees ($303.3) NL Wildcard NLDS NLCS#1 Mets ($305.6) #1 Mets #23 Brewers ($105.8) #4 Phillies ($243.5) #1 Mets #3 Dodgers
#8 Braves ($217.3) #3 Dodgers ($249.8) #14 Padres ($161.9) #14 Padres So the Top 5 payrolls make the playoffs, 6 of the Top 10.
