Oregon State adds RHP Trevor Kaiser to the '25 recruiting class, and brings the class back to 13 prep recruits that are expected to sign with the Beavs later this month. TREVOR KAISER RHP 6-6 215 R/R HANFORD, WA. HS.Kaiser is a multi-sport athlete at Hanford HS playing in the Mid-Columbia League. With a long and lean sized frame and high projection, he is a nice pick-up for OSU. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a simple and clean delivery. The easy juice in his arm gives him a very high ceiling for development. He is very athletic and ran a 7.0 sixty this past siummer. He excels in the classroom with a 3.76 GPA. His metrics are FB 87-91 with 2,410 rpm, SL 79-80 with 2,328 rpm, CB 72-73 and CH 78-79. Kaiser's stats for the 23-24 season: Playing on a 12-12 Hanford team (8-8 in MCL play), he had a 3-2 record with a 2.06 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP. In 34 IP he allowed 10 earned runs on 30 hits and 18 BB with 28 K's. He held the opposing teams BA to .231. Kaiser is best know for his basketball skills in the Tri-Cities area. He is Hanford's leading scorer running the floor, posting up and stroking 3's beyond the arc. He has a complete game and is a highlight film acrobatic "dunker". First team All MCL and scored 38 in the SWX All Star game this summer after throwing a 4 hit shutout against Kennewick-Kamiakin two nights earlier. Watching film, there is a likeness to Jake Pfennigs in HS. Kaiser's development is accelerting under the tuteledge of his travel team coach with the Reign Sports Performance 18u team, Jorge Reyes. For those too young to remember, Reyes was the CWS "Outstanding Player" as a freshman in 2007 playing for the National Champion Beavers. Reyes played MLB with the Braves and Padres. Mitch Canham was his catcher in 2007 if you are wondering how young Trevor found his way to OSU. Now you know.

David Grewe was the last guy Jorge sent me to us. Not sure if he kept playing after his sophomore year. His name is a bit famous in baseball.

Where do you have Grewe?
Whitworth but sat out a year?
Check my source - D1 Baseball.com / 2023 Transfer Tracker. They show Whitworth.
We might have lost track of him.

Yes, D1Baseball does show him transferring to Whitworth, but he has never been shown on their roster

With 3 newcomers announced this week, I believe the '25 prep class now is up to 15. With possible additions from the Portal and JC ranks, this could be another large class finishing in the 18-20 range. We have a varying degree of MLB Draft risk with 3 or 4 of the preps so we should be prepared to see that next summer.

Do you have any idea where he might be? As of August, Grewe was still at Whitworth. I have no idea as to why he did not play last year.
