We have to have a real good recruiting class this time around because quite frankly the last recruiting class took a hit when Smith left.

Niklas highlights show he's very quick with really good understanding of leverage. He is particularly adept at engaging then releasing in swim type leverage moves. The downside is that gets very hard against offensive linemen on passing plays when they are disciplined and balanced. His tackling was very solid wrapping up well as opposed to many high school highlight films where they are just blowing people up with their shoulders. Very explosive first step.
He lined up at DT, DL and OLB/EDGE so I expect he is going to be a pass rush specialist of some sort. His size and game compares well to Hamilcar Rashed.
