Whitney has a quick delivery vet to the plate. A QB type of arm extension. 3 hits. 2 runs for Zags.

If you have turkey in right field for the first game, do you get sleepy during the second game. Hey oh Crap. I double checked that because my spell checker always changes “Turley” to Turkey. It was spelled correctly when I posted. My wife gives me a bad time about the Turley-Turkey.

My oldest attended the camp this morning and it was fantastic. OSU players were engaged, good coaches, and polished with public relations. Gonzaga players were about 50/50 on those qualities depending on the guy but none of them dimenished the experience in any way.
Highlight of my son's day was fielding a grounder and throwing it to first then immediately hitting a gritty. He made some players laugh and got a fist bump. Later when I told him the fist bump came from Turley he pretty much s%#t his pants on the spot.

Lots of young guys playing in the 2nd game. Talt showed a hell of an arm one hoping it from center to 3rd. Cade Falsken jacked a center field grand slam that might have left the atmosphere.

Game 1 way too many strikeouts. Gonzaga staff seemed to have their number. Beavs came back in late innings but fell 1-run short.
Game 2 mostly used different line-up. 13-11 win. Key blow was a grand slam by true freshman Cade Falsken (I think)...all 5' 8" of him.
Overall, pitchers typically went 2 innings. Don't think Keljo, Segura or Mundt (or several others) threw.
Huge crowd for game 1...much smaller for game 2 (both games 9 innings)

Falsken's Moon-Shot is frosting on the cake. Watch him run the bases - Runs the Sixty in the 6.5's and recorded 31 stolen bases last year in 26 games at Newbury Park HS.

Not saying hes Baz by any mark but its cool seeing another guy thats bouncing and ready to go out there.

Cade Falsken: 4 years of varsity baseball in High School, Newbury Park California. 322 plate appearances. 1 Home Run. Seems to prefer college pitching.
