Carillo finishes 7th - Beat Deputy in a rematch 5-2 - CA 126 will be INSANE... Ramirez, Mendoza, Carillo all place at Super 32
Saldate finishes 8th
Grace wrestling fro 5th
McDonnell wrestling for 3rd
Reyes misses podium by 1 match
Mutarelli Med FFT out

So 4 of the 6 place above their seed; one matched their seed and one MFF'd out. Pretty good showing!
When I get a chance I'll have to watch both Deputy matches to see how Carillo adjusted

Yeah, I thought it was a good showing for our commits. Khale lost to Posada 5-0, which could be a preview to the CIF final. They may see each other several times this season. Same with 126...Ramirez, Carillo, Mendoza, Huerta, Rodriguez, Hicks and who knows who else. Has to be one of the toughest weights in a state tournament in the entire country. Yeah, the two matches with Deputy are complete opposites.
