Looks like we'll have 5 commits at S32
Carillo at 120 lbs Saldate and Mutarelli at 132 lbs Grace at 165 lbs Reyes at 175 lbs
Always a good measuring stick (for me this is one of the few chances I get to really watch commits as I'm not totally honed in on the West Coast high school scene).
Tourney starts Saturday AM!

Koy Davidson (144) and Khale McDonnell (215) are also wrestling. As a side note, here is the link to the actual Super 32 site for entries. Sometimes Flo does not list everyone: www.super32.com/page/show/2909947-entries

I definitely rely more on Intermat/Willie for information but in this case Willie's format was too much information haha

Looking through the brackets this AM and it looks like
Carillo is the 10 seed at 126 Mutarelli is the 5 seed at 132 Saldate is the 9 seed at 132 Grace is the 9 seed at 165 Reyes is the 10 seed at 165 McDonnell is the 6 seed at 215
I couldn't find Koy Davidson in a bracket; so he might be a scratch or I could have missed him

Lot of seeds just outside the top 8; should be fun to see if any of them can punch through and outwrestle their seed

For anyone more connected than I am - are there any kids the Beavs are recruiting hard that aren't commits that are worth keeping an eye on?

As yinz start to wake up on the West Coast - so far Carillo, Saldate, and Mutarelli have all cruised into the round of 32
The upper weights haven't gone yet

Mutarelli looked tired in his first match - that looks like a weight issue as I dont' see him being an out of shape kid - but who knows.
Saldate looks undersized, but he has looked good in all positions - He works very well from the under hook position. He also looks good on bottom against taller/lankier guys. Great tilt on his top game and great pressure.
Keep an eye on Bull of Utah - 150 - Fargo champ

I missed it live but I see Mutarelli also MF'd out of his first consi bout so that might be part of it too

Saldate is into the quarters but has Jax Forrest next so . . . uphill battle there

Carillo lost in the R16 to Dom Deputy; tough PA kid - I was hoping it would be more competitive though. He's won his first consi match and has former World Champ Paul Kenny next

Every draw is tough .... getting a world champ this early in consi is crazy. I am actually excited to see how Manny does against Jax. Next group going.
