Pretty happy with some new opportunities.
1) Austin. The baseball should be great and it is a chance to see a part of the country I've not been to.
2) Lincoln. Solid program played in a college town that supports Husker athletics big time. Our being there will likely be a big deal to them.
3) Cal State Fullerton. Visiting a legendary program and it is a fairly easy commute.
4) Hawaii. Should be a lot of fun and I bet we travel well. Can't hurt our recruiting.
Airfare pretty reasonable right now and lightly booked. Exit rows available at no extra charge. Don't get frustrated about our home schedule, hit the road!

Unfortunately, I don't have the time to travel much for Beaver baseball.
My dad and I are planning on going to the Shriners showdown at Globe Life. Never been to Texas ......he went last year and enjoyed it.
If you're retired, and have the ability to do it, this would a great season to hit the road.

If Hawaii follows their 2024 pattern our Friday/Saturday games will in the evening, Sunday/Monday in the afternoon. Hoping (3) are in the evening. Worth the trip if you have all day to "play"/explore. When I looked at their 2024 schedule it seems most games are 6:35pm start, Sundays 1:05pm (a couple Mondays/get away days at 2:05pm)

all the trips sounds great but its hard to beat Surprise. after 5-6 months of rainy cloudy weather getting off the plane is like heaven. we have flown into Mesa a few times and and they don't have jetways so you take stairs off the plane. when the warmth and sun hit you, I actually kneeled down and kissed the tarmac one time. we spent the weekend in Surprise then back to Mesa and explored Globe, Show-lo, Payson and the Salt River Canyon. GO BEAVS !

GO BEAVS ! When you live at 4,270' elevation in Central Oregon, Surprise AZ in mid-February is like Christmas in July. And after Surprise, exploring S.E. AZ and western New Mexico is the cherry on top.
