Rough article about Adley on Yahoo Sports. In the fifth, with bases loaded, two outs and an 2-0 count, Adley sat on the next two pitches to get into a 2-2 count. Then he grounded out. He should be money in that situation, the article says, but maybe next year. I was listening to the radio at that juncture, the Royals broadcast. Sounded like he hit an absolute rocket that Witt made a nice play on. Sometimes all you can do is hit the ball and hope for the best. Baseball is certainly that kind of sport. I wasn’t tuned in, just read the article. But I think it’s good for Adley and company. Adversity can bring clarity. |

I believe I heard 10 straight playoff losses?! same here..not a good streak to have Go Guardians and Kwannie and Boydie. |
