Better than Orioles... 15 losses since 2015. But they've won games... 2015... 4-5 postseason 2017... 4-6 postseason 2018... 0-2 WC 2020... 0-2 WC

As a Cubs fan, I don't think I've been alive long enough to see 10 playoff losses. Pirates fan . . . I haven't even seen 10 playoff games . . . Only (3) playoff appearances since 1992 NL championships series. But better than the Orioles the have won playoff games in the last decade+... 2013 the won the WC game vs the Reds, then lost the next series to the Cards 3-2. 2014, 2015 made the WC game and shut out twice! One winning season since, 2018. Sadly I did not realize how futile they've been... Since the (3) year run losing in the NL championship series, 1990-1992, they have (4) seasons above .500, and only (11) since the 1979 WS title. Since then almost as many 100 loss seasons (5) as playoff appearances (6). At the time I thought their 70's (?) "pillbox" striped cap was the best hat ever! i.ebayimg.com/images/g/j5QAAOSwwWpmKsqu/s-l960.webp

Rough article about Adley on Yahoo Sports. In the fifth, with bases loaded, two outs and an 2-0 count, Adley sat on the next two pitches to get into a 2-2 count. Then he grounded out.
He should be money in that situation, the article says, but maybe next year.

Sounded like he hit an absolute rocket that Witt made a nice play on. Sometimes all you can do is hit the ball and hope for the best.

Needed him to get more aggressive. The 2-0 pitch was GROOVED. As the announcer said, paraphrasing, "... right where you put the ball doing tee drill..." He had a tough September. Happens at that level, especially at that position.
