Rams score a td against the Bears with 14 min and change left in the 4th and go for 2 to tie, didn't get it. I'll never understand the stupidity. Bears score and then lead by 9, to make it a two score game.

Daniels looked great today. I think the Doug Flutie errr Kyler Murry experiment is over.

Bears score and then lead by 9, to make it a two score game. The numbers say to go for two in that situation basically from the second quarter on. It would have been stupid regressive folly to go for one. The reason is exactly the reason that you cite. What would have happened, if the Rams had gone for one? The Bears would have scored and led by 8. The Rams still would have had to go for two to tie. And they probably would have still failed. You are delaying the decision, which hurts your chances to win. And to add to this, the Rams kicked a field goal later in the game and got two chances to win after that. On the first with 4:25 left, they foolishly and cowardly punted on 4th & 2. And the first play of the second drive was a pick. Other than not going for it on 4th & 2, they played the percentages. The football punished them for that stupid, cowardly punt with 4:25 left, though.
