Not much excitement on either side. I will say Petersen must have more respect for GA as they obviously have not turned on the Steamroller. Ducks got the full treatment. LOL *ucks always get the full treatment because of the way they acted when they were winning. (and UW really really hates them) It might also be that we're just hanging on well enough. This is much better than I expected.

bahh!...another INT by MCM just after we recover our own onside kick!... now I deff feel MCM is forever a 3rd stringer Qb. Which puts in motion again the QB controversy up for discussion again.

It WAS against Washington in his first start in over a year. How about we give him a game or two before we totally flush him down the drain again? He's actually got a good combination of run/pass instinct. And can actually complete a pass.

Good fight in the second half. We could have packed it in but outscored them 17-10. Hopefully we can get some bodies back for Wazzu.

True, it was against washington but it was against a 2nd or 3rd string defense though. and I would like to see mcm run more though. the beavs dagger in the pac-12 is the running game for sure.

I thought MM looked a lot better than I thought he would, certainly better than DG.

That was an exceptional defensive play. I couldn't tell if McM locked onto bolden but when he let if fly didn't look like a terrible decision, ball looked good in the air nice and tight at least it wasn't ten yards out of bounds. Take a shot at that point in the game. I don't see what the coaches are seeing with the other two QBs.

It was at a point in the game the team was pretty much under order to take chances. The ball was dead on target and the d back made a play few do. The coaches won't care about that int.

welp our defense is better than last year that is for sure, which makes me question kalinis defense schems.. nah teams always look better executing an entirely new base defense the second year they are running it instead of the first. Last year we had new schemes on both sides of the ball and it was ugly. And this year we are executing it better but struggling to protect the QB and also struggling to generate a pass rush. The secondary and linebackers are playing average to good at times IYAOA. Not sure whether those are schematic changes or just better execution but I suspect it's the latter more than the former.

93beav--I noted this in your post: "*ucks always get the full treatment because of the way they acted when they were winning." True dat. I said to my son (a former Benny Beaver...) last year that every PAC-12 team owes the ducks an ass-kicking. They are getting some of these now. I only hope that they have that ass-kicking coming from us on November 26.

MacMaryion may very well be a third stringer, but if so, he is a third stringer on a team of scout players and walk-ons at the QB position. No way does Garretson pass for near 150 against this UW team. Same with Blount.
UW has an outstanding defense with a DL that blew past our OL, play after play. MacMaryion handled it okay for someone who only this week was given starting reps. I, for one, would like to see him given more opportunity this season.

I would like to see mcm run more though. the beavs dagger in the pac-12 is the running game for sure. uh that would be stupid considering how many games are left and how many QB's are left.

On the pass rush. Just my opinion but it has looked better to me the last two games. I think the defensive line is coming around a bit.

I was in the car at the time so I didn't see it but Jim Wilson seemed to think that play was on Villamin for lining up incorrectly, getting our spacing hosed up and allowing the safety to come over for the pick. Said our 2 receivers were way too close together in their routes... Again, didn't see it but for whatever it's worth...
