ESPN currently has the OSU women's basketball Class of 2017 recruiting class ranked #15 in the nation based upon the verbal commits from Taya Corosdale (#27 in the country) and Aleah Goodman (#63). That #15 national recruiting ranking doesn't factor in the verbal commit from 6'7" juco transfer Joanna Grymek from Seward Community College in Kansas. Only high school commitments are factored into the ESPN rankings. It is my understanding that Grymek plans to begin her OSU career in time for the '17-'18 season. OSU remains in the mix for Evina Westbrook (#2 on the ESPN list and #1 on at least one other rankings list). Should Westbrook choose to stay local and play for the Beavers, it is possible that OSU could possess the top recruiting class in the nation for 2017. The Beavers' four-member recruiting class (Pivec, Tudor, Washington, and Thropay) from the Class of 2016 finished the year ranked #16 on the ESPN national list. www.espn.com/high-school/girls-basketball/recruiting/class-rankings/_/class/2017
