Consider the source and the reporter before giving this "article" any kind of merit.
Sports Illustrated is a mere shadow of what it once was and this guys credentials seem a little thin with regards to OSU.

Not really sure what Daschel’s problem is with the article. There is nothing in there that isn’t true. I’ve always been concerned with the Beavers lack of HS offers. With the portal and looking some internationally, it might be less of an issue, but I still find it concerning. Beavers only got two “true international” recruits this off season. And neither of them would be considered the cream of the crop. The other international players brought in over summer were transfers from US colleges.
I like targeting some international players, but think the Beavers still need to bring in some HS players for success. Maybe not though. But still nothing in article I find false.
