Wow. Is there more to this story? His shot looks horrible, but the length, the blocks, the dunks, the dunks off spin dribble moves.

I'm not complaining.
We are the United Nations now. Roster has guys from Denmark, Canada, England, France, Germany, Iran, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Washington, and Oregon.

Plus they probably haven't seen as much about how bad the program's become.

Anyone know how much the influx of foreign born players has been a direct result of the new AC? I know he had a prior relationship with the kid from England and that he was touted as having overseas connections Like this pick up. Definitely raw but has some great physical tools Now we’ll have to see how well they translate to the NCAA or is the highlight reel made more impressive by inferior competition. Ibekwe’s massive size was nice, but I really like this kid’s athleticism.

Plus they probably haven't seen as much about how bad the program's become. Most borderline foreign players just want a foothold in the US hoops community. How bad OSU may have been wouldn't be an issue. Once here, part of a program they'll develop more vs better competition and, of course, will be portal ready next Spring! 🙄

I find it intriguing that the *average* height of a player on our 14 man roster is 6' 7.25". Granted there is likely some "inflation" going on, but I don't offhand recall a roster stocked with more "tall timber" in my time following the Beavers. If WT is truly a big man whisperer, this would be the year to shine.... I thought we might tower above others on our 'new' schedule, but just random sampling of Santa Clara and Gonzaga rosters led me to realize there are a lot more players at least claiming to be 6'10"+ than I realized. Go Beavers!

Go Beavers! I was happy they pocked up a young, tall and athletic kid to finish out the class. I've felt the Beavs' depth has been a bit "undersized" (either in height or thickness) for a couple of years in the frontcourt. Losing Bilodeau and Ibekwe stung, I like Gavin's potential but would like to see him fill out. Between the returnees and the new kids we now have quite a bit of height, beef and athleticism.
