I do not remember it being discussed, but I just saw that Oregon State's game with Sacramento State in 2026 was moved to 2029. That leaves 2026 with road trips to Houston and San Diego sandwiched around a home game against Texas Tech. That could be step one in scheduling the Civil War in 2026. (The ACC and Mountain West both play eight-game conference schedules, so Sacramento State had to be moved to open up a fourth nonconference game.)
